MORE IS LESS: 100 projects and counting!

CIRCULAR FACADE AND ROOF TILES IN 100 INTERNATIONAL PROJECTS

Pretty Plastic has reached an important milestone: 100 projects signed and commissioned, using circular façade and roof tiles made from recycled plastic waste. From completed buildings to projects currently under construction, these applications show how circular building materials are becoming an integral part of contemporary architecture.

To date, more than 16,000 square metres of circular façade and roof cladding have been applied across 13 countries worldwide. These projects range from renovations to new-builds and demonstrate the architectural versatility of recycled plastic façade systems.

What began with the launch of our first tile at Dutch Design Week has grown into an international portfolio trusted by architects, developers and façade builders. Circular design is no longer experimental - it is a proven solution for durable and fire-safe building envelopes.

MEASURABLE IMPACT OF CIRCULAR CLADDING

Across these projects, Pretty Plastic has:

  • Upcycled more than 370,000 kg of post-consumer plastic waste

  • Avoided over 1,441,000 kg of CO₂ emissions by reducing incineration

All Pretty Plastic tiles are designed for long-term use, reuse and full recyclability. Our circular façade and roof systems keep materials in continuous use, allowing them to move from one project to the next. This approach supports a closed-loop material cycle within the built environment.

At Pretty Plastic, More is Less: the more plastic waste we upcycle into façade and roof tiles, the smaller our environmental impact becomes.

We work closely with architects, clients and partners who actively choose sustainable façade materials and want to contribute to a circular built environment.
